During my collegiate days, we had mostly deaf teachers, very, very few hearing teachers…You know, it's kind of different today. You name it, any type of subject. We had deaf teachers, all deaf teachers. That was inspiring and I enjoyed it. That, of course, cemented how I see myself in the world.
